In the interests of full disclosure, many of the posts here are written retrospectively and are dated as accurately as we can establish. It became clear to us over time, that the issues we were experiencing with our adopted dog were, while surprising and at times distressing for us all, likely to be not uncommon. On that basis, we felt that sharing our experiences, good and not so good, might be informative and hopefully helpful to other dog owners. 3000 Dead Dogs is a number of ideas come together in one place. It is simultaneously an account of our life with KiKi, our rehomed Dalmatian and a place for our thoughts about dog welfare more generally.
